When you're in your movie (with GPS data) you should go to templates, than select the Templates tab.
Select All and you'll probably find the downloaded templates being last.
For the templates you made yourself, select "custom", they should be there.

Does your account user name contain special characters? Something like "Søren", e.g.?

Unfortunately there is a bug in the current version of VIRB Edit that appears if that is the case.

The only (inconvenient) work-around is to change the user account to something without special characters.

We'll get this fixed in a future version.

My account had special characters. When changed still the behaviour is the same as seen in the video.

I changed the ø in my name in the Virb account and uninstalled virb edit, and installed it Again.
    And nothing changed..
When I save a template there is only a blank Square..

Or if anyone can help and make a template as in the video
    with:

Speed, compas, and normal vertical G. no more than this.....

And send it on Email :)

Then I can put it in the template folder and get full use on the Virb Elite.

As far as I know, when a new account is created in Windows with a user name which has special characters, Windows creates a folder system based on that name. Changing the user name afterwards does *not* change the names used in the folder system already created - ONLY the user name is changed. If a program (such as Virb Edit) has a problem with the folder names, changing the user name will NOT solve this problem.

The workaround is to create a NEW Windows user account with a name which uses only 'normal' characters (IOW which does not use 'special' characters), and then use that program while logged in as the new user. The folder system should then be created also without any special characters, and the program should work properly.

I would have thought a 'Desktop Application Developer' would have known this, or at least would have been able to explain this properly....

To be fair, I'd hope he's spending his time modifying the version to cope with special characters rather than spending time helping users on here.

I have now deleted my accounts and Virb edit + Express, and made new in another Emailadress and name.
Downloaded Edit+ Express and registreated produkt.

    Still nothing changed.
