Getting really frustrated with this software now despite installing the latest update

No matter what i try i still can't export any of my edited videos - The following error appears:-

"VIRB Edit has stopped working" A Problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available.

I am running windows 7 with the latest updates and patches. I have 16GIG of RAM and running 2x AMD Radeon HD7900.

I have tried removing the GPS file, shortening the video to a 3 minute 6x speed clip, Sharing, exporting to a lower resolution, saving to a different location, disabling CrossFire mode on my graphics card, disabling antivirus, closing down all my running applications. I can't think of anything else to try i have ran out of ideas.

Does anyone have any other suggestions as to why i can't export? I have no problem when it comes to editing the video it's just when i try and export or share that i encounter the problem.

Thanks
Alan

I have the same problems, exporting is hit or miss, mostly miss, even short 1 minute videos wont export. Anything greater than 720P and 30FPS never exports and adding music makes the results even worse. Its a shame because the editing software is fun and pretty easy to use, but if you can't export it its useless.

I hope they can release a fix soon to resolve this annoying issue as i do like the simplicity of the software. Failing that, what alternative software would people recommend?

    thanks

If you want to embed the data, I don't think there's a great deal out there.

You could try searching this forum, I think some people's export problems where caused by their Antivirus a while back, I didn't take a lot of notice as I wasn't affected.

    Hi MILLIGANS01,

Out of curiousity, I know you disabled CrossFire, but have you tried disabling 1 video card?

Also, does your Windows User name have Special Characters, for example, Ì, á, $, é, Æ?

Are you trying to export a video larger than 4gb?

    Thanks,
    Reyn

Along with what Reyntest suggested - have you tried exporting a video without any data overlays? If this is successful, then try adding overlays one at a time, until you find the one (or the limit) which causes problems. I suggest you try this with a very small file first.

Hi there. Thanks for all your replies and sorry for not replying sooner. I was getting that frustrated that i decided to leave it for a few days.

I can confirm that i have tried disabling my Anti Virus software (Avast)

My username does not have any special characters

I've only disabled CrossFire mode as i am not sure on how to disable one of the graphics cards without unplugging it from the motherboard. I tried disabling one of the cards from Device Manager but it wouldn't allow me to open the Garmin Virb Edit software.

I tried removing the Overlay, Music and GPS data. The video clip was 6 minutes long at 2x speed and had less than 700MB when trying to export at HD720P \ 25fps

My log file shows the following:-
