invalid GPS log

Hi,

I'm using Virb Edit, but it says that my gps log is invalid:

So I checked, and my .GPX files are slightly different build.

MY questions are:
  • Why is a timestamp necessary? (dashware and google earth are handling my .GPX without problems)
  • Can I make my .GPX valid? if yes, how?

- the file comes from the Trace
I hope someone can help me!

    thank all of you guys!
I hope I can do what you just did in a few steps, because this .GPX file was from my Trace,
so all my .GPX files will look like this.

@DATEZZ thank you for your help, I will compare your uploaded versions.
(if you know how to get a good gpx file in a few easy steps please let me know)
I will try "Fit file repair" when I have some time.

@JAVAWA Thank you for your help, it seems that my GPS logger is too good for virb :p. (It's logging more than virb can handle)
so getting a "proper gps device" isn't an option, the Trace is a good GPS device :P
I will compare your fixed .GPX file, and try to find some easy stept to get an accurate log.

I guess a totally clean, fixed, gpx log isn't necessary, as long as Virb can read it, and the info is correct I can live with some deviation!

I am not sure when, but we do plan to support sub-second GPX files in VIRB Edit in the future, so hopefully this process will become a lot less painful.

Thanks all for helping washichi out.
