    Hi FALAGAR,
don't know if you remember, I've sent you the DATA folder so to have a look at that and see the reason of continuous crashes of VIRB Edit. Anyway, to let the SW work, I had to go back to 2.3.2, having found the 2.6.2 works till the moment I export the movie, than crashes again. I don't know if this is useful... I could not download other versions, I just found the 2.3.2 on the Internet and it worked.

Today, as soon as I finish working on my project, I try the new release and I will update this post.

    Hi Falagar!

Do you have any estimation when font size problem will be fixed? Specially widget fonts are tiny. Also titles are quite unusable now. Sometimes titles are smalla, sometimes cropped. Never works correctly :)

    Hi MARIOMOBIEL,
Thanks, I did it, but I don't know way all the download attempts failed at half way. So I found a 2.3.2 version from another page, and it works.
2.7.1 is the most recent now! But sincerely I haven't great expectations, in a few minutes I'll know more.
    Best,

OK, that's official: 2.7.1 doesn't work either. Same crashes as soon as I try to edit a project.
I go back to 2.3.2 again and wait for a new fix.

Still does not work! When I go to play a video before I edit it, it just shows a black screen. If I try to edit anything, it just crashes. Come on Garmin sort it out!

You've done 3 posts, only complaining that it doesn't work.
As you don't give us and the Garmin guys a clue what kind of PC you use there is no way to help you.
And for Garmin no way to find out why it does not work on your PC.

    Hi PA3FBO,
Already posted my PC specs in other past reports. Anyway I do it again. Specs are far beyond the requirements indicated in the Garmin Virb Edit download page.
If this can help, I run a computer with an Intel Core i5 processor, 8GB ram, 1 TB hard disk drive, ASUS EAH5670 graphic card, Windows 7 Pro - Service Pack 1.

Regarding your last sentence, I'm afraid Garmin should find out what doesn't work on Virb Edit, not on my computer nor in those of several customers reporting the same issues.

All that said, I appreciate Garmin's efforts, and I don't like just complaining, I run a company and the last thing we want to get are customers complaining, but it's a matter of fact that the SW is far from being stable.
I'm doing what I can to provide info to Garmin, it's not mandatory wasting time here, I think it should be appreciated.

@SardiniaCycling: yes you've done it, it was directed at gsvalentine as he/she only complained and didn't give anyone a chance to help

I am running Windows 7 Pro, 64 bit, with 4 GB of memory. GeForce 7950 graphics card. Got the Garmin Virb Elite, which is running the newest firmware.

What happens, is I open VIRB Edit. Go to preview the video, before I even try to edit it and get a black screen where the video should be. Can still hear the sound. If I try to edit a video (not much point), since I can't see anything. It Just crashes, no error message.

    Need any more info?
