Virb Edit on Microsoft Pro 3

Morning, is anyone running Virb edit on a Microsoft Surface?

I am considering buying one, but want to be sure that Virb edit will work - I had a heck of a time getting it to work on my current laptop (though think the problems were resolved in the latest version of the software.

Anyways, just checking,

Hi, I am running it on a Surface Pro 2 and it works tolerably well, although it churns generating videos, and doesn't seem to want to work with 1080p output. Also the playback within Virbedit is pretty jerky - not so nice as it should be.

One thing that might help is to make sure to plug it in, or run it in performance mode.

Video Processing and live rendering are pretty intensive operations, and won't very well if CPU and GPU are in power-save mode.

But we are looking into making this smoother as time goes on.

Allowing a project to move between machines would be perfect for this situation. Edit on Surface from a portable harddrive then export it from a power machine.
