All graphs are showing wrong position of the dot on the graph.

After having trouble with graphs I decided to have a closer look at this strange behaviour of the moving dot on the graphs.
Just updated my VIRB basic 3.9. GPX file data from Dakota 20 directly imported into VIRB edit.
Single clip of video synced with gpx data, custom template which clearly shows precise time, position coordinates, cadence, and elevation, these values can be directly checked in gpx file, I used Basecamp as a reference.

I have a picture on this cleary showing the wrong positon of the Dot on the graphs, but can't seem to upload. Limitations with attachments, can't seem to delete previous attachments.
FAQ is not clear on this topic, or I must be stupid.

Wiht all types of graphs speed, elevation, cadence the mmoving dot is incorrectly shown.
The numbers that are displayed are correct it is just the dot that is wrong.
Having graphs as overlay is very nice but displayed information should be correct! pretty worthless this way :(

For uploading pictures use something like photobucket, than place the link here using the "Insert Image" button, the "URL" tab and remove the tag before "Retrieve remote file and reference locally" (you don't want to upload).

I expect the FAQ to be outdated a couple of versions.
My "How To" video's are outdated too, but you could have a look at this post https://forums.garmin.com/showthread.php?75263-How-To&p=378295#post378295

VIRB Edit is a work in progress.
On one hand they are trying to get all the bugs fixed and try to get it working with more graphic cards.
On the other hand people are asking for more, new features (introducing new bugs).

Is the position shifted forward or backward in time or is it just entirely wrong?

I know in VIRB Edit 2.6.2 when aligning the track, it would jump back to the last datapoint it passed.
If that is still the case, first put the track at a known position just passed a trackpoint (two lines at an angle, see basecamp).
Than adjust the video to the same point.
When after viewing you need to adjust, only adjust the video the amount of frames forward/backwards, don't adjust the track.

Maybe a description of what kind of PC you are using would be helpfull for the developers.

It is not about sync of video and gpx data, this is perfectly aligned.
The graphs show a cross hair and a dot that moves up/down and forward in time.

It is the up / down movement and the graph itself which is off, the numbers displayed are correct, cross checked with basecamp.
For cadence this is very clear, sometimse 0 rmp at the the top of the graph and high number at the bottom. Elevation and speed graphs also off, numbers are correct.

I see now that I have misplaced this post under Mac software -> VIRB Edit
It should be under Windows software -> VIRB Edit

    Aha I know... your pedaling backwards...just joking, I don't have a clue.
    Some thing for the developers.
I have not tried the button for reversing the sensor direction, nor have I tried the upside-down button in VIRB Edit, maybe you have and that causes the problem.
I had/have a problem with the speed graph, where the top of the graph was chopped off by the graph-title (probably some scaling error).

I assume some of the mods will move this thread to the windows section.
