Wrong positon on elevation profile overlay

Hi,

I am using Dakota 20, VIRB basic VIRB Edit 2.7.0.0. I have added multiple clips and synced them with the GPX file. Elevation profile overlay correspond very well elevation profile in Basecamp.
However, the Dot on the overlay is in the wrong position it does not match with the track position. The elevation numbers are correcty displayed.
In some cases you see the elevation number go up while the dot moves down on the slope.
This overlay display works fine with a single video clip synced with GPX data but as soon as I add other clips it gets this strange behaviour.

See printscreen.

Any sugggestion to correct this?

I will get back to you on this, we'll have to do some investigation.

    Thanks for reporting.

Could you provide us with the GPX and FIT file (if there is one) for the track? If you open the properties for the clip, go to the GPS Log tab. You can download the GPX and FIT file from there.

gpx file from the properties of the clip

GPX file was corrected for elevation using high res elevtion data of the Netherlands JaVaWa RTWTool, and time-shifted to match clock in video clips using GPS Babel.
After corrections imported into VIRB Edit.

I had a more detailed look at this issue.
Also single clip has mismatch of elevation graph and mismatch changes when cutting clips left or right

    see strip of print screens.

Top 2 without cutting the clip, correct height number (corresponds with basecamp), wrong position on graph, bottom 2 with cutting clip -> position on graph changes this should not happen height number reamains the same for the position on the map.

The graph seems to be off in different settings, can happen with an offset to left or right and changes sometimes dramatically with cutting individual video clips.
I wonder about other graphs cadans and speed, has anyone experience offsets as well?

I know that when manual syncing of the video with the track, the track will jump back to the last trackpoint, leaving the video out of sync.
Could this also be the case with elevation?

Thanks for the data. Hopefully this will help us figure out what's going on.
