Hi guys,
just updated to 2.7.0 and nothing works now. I cannot see the single imported videos, nor create or modify new projects or any other things the SW is made for. When I try to modify or simply export clips, the SW crashes systematically.
We use this cam for our job and this is not the first issue with the SW, it's very disappointing.
Is the previous version still downloadable? at least it worked!

I am very sorry to hear this and I apologize for the trouble. We want to fix this as soon as possible.

What kind of crash is this? Do you get an error dialog?

What exact action causes the crash?

This is a bad update. I went from 2.6.2 and being able to export with overlays (even though I had to restart the app frequently to actually succeed) to 2.7.0 and now nothing will export with any overlay, plus the app still crashes if you look at it sideways (with no crash dialog).

Come on guys, this isn't version 0.8 beta anymore ... this app should be much more reliable than it is right now.

Sadly I think I'm going to have to abandon the Garmin app and end up buying something that actually works (adding more cost to my already overpriced Virb Elite where the ANT+ sensors can't be trusted to actually work for an entire ride).

I am very sorry to hear this, and I agree that this should not be the way it is. Performance for playback in 2.7 should be much better, but it looks like we've created some new issues unfortunately.

Could you send us the export log reports? That would help us out greatly.

if i use transitions so in export file the gps data misrepresented on movie
It is an Offset of up to 10 sec
in Virb Edit all correct

Gauges from the default template are not in the gauges library:
"SML_Basic_8CharTxt_Open.veg" with "duration"
EDIT: this gauge has no "supportedTypes" in it's code and in "unsupportedTypes" stands "duration".
although it has SML in it's name it will be in the Medium list.

The upgrade has cured the problem I had where the program kept quitting while playing clips but the clips are very jumpy and the playback seems to constantly stutter.

As long as the playback is not jumpy in the exported video, I'm happy.

From what you describe it sounds like VIRB Edit has trouble keeping up.
