Assuming you're working with Win7 (giving more details would be usefull).:confused: The answer is "Yes", buy a PC with Win8 or buy a MAC.:( The 3.5GB file size limit is (very) low on the priority list. Unfortunately I'm also working with Win7. Win8 and MAC don't seem to have this limit.
Besides... Importing bigger files... The VIRB (Elite) creates files with a maximum of 3.5GB. So there is no need for importing bigger files, unless....:)
Thanks, i working on Win 8. I needed to create space on a secondary drive i have, so i used the create video function to export my videos to a NAS. this created a new video file with a new gpx file to go with it. thinking i could now erase the originals, i did. i can't reimport some of the videos because some are slightly over the limit. Was recording 1 1/2 hour road trips for work.
