Export to MP4: "There was an error reading the information from the video"

Hi,

I have Virb Edit 2.6.2. I get an error message "There was an error reading information from the video" when I try to export a video to MP4 (see attached screenshot).

FWIW, sharing to Youtube works.

    That's really strange.
As share works I assume you are not running into the 3.5GB limit on Win7 machines.
Sharing is a two stage proces.
First the video is exported to a temporary file, than this file is uploaded.
This means that export to the temporary file works.
The only think I can think of (and it's just a wild guess) is you have more than one drive.
The drive where the temporary file is made has enough space left.
The drive for the exported file has not enough space (or it's format is FAT and you're exporting a file bigger than 3.5GB).
Anyway, you could try to export to the directory/drive where temporary files are placed, probably somewhere on C:\ .

If my wild guess doesn't work, it's something for the developers.
I think they would like some more information about your PC, operating system and the size of your video.

I have tried several solutions for the error.. I get the same and the edit software crashes. I tried another computer and as the video exports it crashes. I changes resolution and it still crashes. I even changes the 64 gig card and still crashes.. I updated drivers as suggested. Still crashes.. Additionally, the overlays do not work either.. I am using a 64 bit windows hp 7.0 operating system. I hope this can soon be corrected since the developers are and have been in contact with me.
