
Annuleer bijsnijden and snijd .. weg.
"Bijsnijden" is something well known although "bij" means making it bigger.
"Bijsnijden" literary would translate as cutting to make something bigger. (strange folk those Dutch :o)
Analog to this trimming left/right would be "snij ... bij" (snijdt ... bij).
In Dutch the verb "snijden" the form "snijd" is seldomly used.
Much more common is "snij" for "I cut" or as a command "cut!".
If you want the form of "he cuts" it should be "snijdt".
Another option would be to leave the wordt "trim" in dutch as it is, so "trim links"/"trim rechts"
Maybe some other Dutch/Belgian on this forum could comment on this matter.
