Okay thanks. I have just ordered more mount adapters so I am going to start filming on a 90° angle off the kite. This way I can have one side up and use the 180 feature to correct the other view with the software. I think this will me easier than rotating and trying to readjust the gps data.

So, turns out virb edit wont import the rotated clip. Have you tried this? Not sure why its not working because its the same output file.
You probably need to convert it to an accepted .mp4 format. I use AnyVideoConverter (Free edition) to do that. You need to set the video codec for .mp4 to x264 and the audio to aac.

It exports to a .mp4 file. Are you saying there are different types of .mp4 files??

Okay this works. but now its fuzzy. First Ive rotated the video with Free Video Flip and Rotate, then converted in AVC. Its cropped off the video which is fine but ive lost all the video quality. Did I do something wrong?
