Custom template question - ability to remove widgets?

Is there a way to remove individual widgets from a template being created? Sometimes I test fit a widget, decide it's now what I want, and haven't found a way to delete it. I have resorted to the 'clear all' and starting over with the creation.

Also, it would be nice to be able to create a custom template by adding or deleting from an existing template.

If it is not possible to do the above, can it be added to the Virb Edit wish list?

Thanks!

Just hit the DELETE key while you have a widget selected.

To remove a gauge/widget from an overlay, click on the gauge, than press "delete".
When you move the gauge off-screen, it will still be in the template and cost renderingtime.
For the track you need to click on the (white) line to select it.
When a gauge is selected, it changes colour.
After you've made changes, you can save your custom overlay.

Another way to make a custom overlay is by direct editing of the code.
Templates and widgets can be found here on a Win7 system:
    C:\Program Files (x86)\Garmin\VIRB Edit\Templates
    C:\Program Files (x86)\Garmin\VIRB Edit\Widgets
When VIRB Edit is updated, it will remove and re-add these directories so every change here is lost.
You can save your custom templates in:
    C:\Users\{username}\AppData\Roaming\Garmin\VIRB Edit\Database\2\Templates
There is no safe place for storing your custom widgets (yet).
So save your custom templates and widgets in your "my documents"

I need the "facepalm" emoticon - thanks for helping me with the obvious (hitting the delete key) and for the extra info.

EDIT: double facepalm - this post should have gone into the Mac section of Virb Edit. Also, I did not get the 'delete' function when right-clicking on my Macbook Pro, which is why I originally thougth the gauge delete wasn't possible.

Sorry to take up this many electrons...
