VIRB Colour on Video

Friend of mine installed the virb in offroad vehicle in Cab, said the cockpit view was perfect but the outside view looks white like its over exposed. I had lens correct and video stabilization on. Any ideas on better settings to get a good color for near and far?

Not really.
I think the VIRB can only take one value of brightness.
If the outside would correctly be exposed, the inside would be under exposed so a compromise has to be made.
You could try to move the camera up/down so it gets more light from the outside.
Also you could tilt the camera a bit up to see more sky and get the outside less overexposed.
