Virb Edit Accel and Braking overlay showing no data

I have a Virb elite and have put together a little vid to just test what it can do. However I noticed that the Acceleration overlay doesn't show any readings. Its like there just isn't anything coming from the accelerometer. Does anyone know if this is a known issue?

Hi.

Nope. They either just show 0g or -- . Everything else works fine apart from these.

Could you attach one of the gpx file from your VIRB Elite? Sounds like there is no g-Force data, but I'd like to make sure.

Hmm, I get g-force data for the track you attached.

How did you get the attached track? Is that what you got when you exported the video?

Can you try exporting just the GPX track? You can do that by right-clicking on the clip in the time line and choosing "Save GPS Log...".

That should give us the raw GPS data.

I've re-installed 2.3.2 on my laptop and did a test.
It's probably a bug in 2.4.0, in 2.3.2 it work ok.
Also the gauge in 2.3.2 seems more crisp than the one in 2.4.0.
Appears like the overlay in 2.3.2 is 1080p and the one in 2.4.0 is 720p.
It's the same clip in both 2.3.2 and 2.4.0 exported as 1080p.

I can definitely reproduce the gauge crispness issue. I opened a case for it and we should be able to fix it.

I am still having trouble reproducing the issue of acceleration data not showing up. Do you never see acceleration data with 2.4? Does it matter if you imported with 2.3 or 2.4?

I first reproduced the problem on my PC with 2.4.0.
Than I took the laptop and re-installed 2.3.2.
After that I imported the clip directly from the VIRB Elite and made the movie without the problem.
Only did the test with this video.

Hmmm. I can see the data in the GPX but 2.4 doesn't reproduce it. :(
