Displaying Maps in a Virb Edit Video?

I know in a video created in Virb Edit you can show a track that relates to the video and a dot that shows where you are on that track.

What I was wondering was is it possible to have a box that shows a map and where you are on that map that is related to your location in that video? It would be really good to be able to display in a video where you actually are in terms of location by having a map display.

Is this possible? If not, is it something that could be added to a wish list?

Thanks,

Marcus

A real map is/was already on the wishlist.
But Garmin don't own the maps it uses and due to some legal issues they can't export the (Google or Bing) map to video.
They are investigating the use of Open Street Maps.
Meanwhile you can screencapture the video with map while playing the video in preview window like I did. http://youtu.be/031ECnN_mhU
In this way you'll probably have some qualityloss.
Alternative you can capture only the map and use another video editing program with picture-in-picture (PiP) capability to insert it into your video.

Gamin don't own the map's they are using. The maps are owned by Navtec or whatever they've changed their name to now.
Gamin has a license for limited use, use in GPS'ses, not for using them in movies.
So the legal guys (and girls) first have to work that out.
