Is there a way of adding the pictures you have taken on trip with the virb to be inserted into video you make after with the edit soft ware? Or maybe I missed this somewhere?
As far as I know this is not possible in 2.4 unless you have another video editor that can make the pictures into .MP4 clips. Adding pictures should be in some future version.
VIRB Edit freezing with pictures in the project together with templates and gauges.
With Virb Edit 3.0.1. there is a new function adding picture to the movie.
It works fine, when i just do not use gauges and templates, then a movies sequence with pictures inserted between can be exported.
Problem to report : it is not working WITH templates and gauges. Virb Edit freezes immediately when tried to. :(

I have trouble reproducing the issue. What happens if you disable overlays for photos? Edit the video, click on the G-Metrix icon for the photo on the timeline and check the "Hide Overlays for this Clip" check-box.
You can reproduce this trouble in this way:
try to merge within one project few movies with GPS data, adding for example speed gauge to them. Then add static jpg picture at beginning or between (I dragged one from multimedia library) and try to export movie. It should freeze immediately.
