can't even render...

currently using Virb Edit 2.3.2.0 version.

i was able to import my mp4 file from my action cam (TCL SV200) which was recorded in 1080.

then i imported my gpx file from my 810.

was able to add everything in and even the music file and even test play back within the Virb Edit SW.

but when i try to export it, it give me a message: "There was an error exporting the video."

anyone else having this issue as well?

please help...

try turning the volume down to zero - it seems to have worked for other people.

Are you using videos from a VIRB device

We'd love for VIRB Edit to work with all sorts of video files. However, our main objective is to make sure it works with videos from VIRB cameras. If you do have trouble with non-VIRB videos, try setting the volume of your clips to 0, this has helped in some cases.

the video is not from the virb. i tried it with volume all the way down to zero and still no go.

if not meant to use for other videos, then why did the video says it works with all different types of video from cell phone, cameras, etc.? :(

Garmin never guaranteed Virb Edit would work with all other video camera output. I think it was awesome of them not to restrict VE to working only with Virb cameras, as that would have been a lot easier for them to do.

I succeeded importing and exporting of clips from my RoadHawk Ride (.MOV files) when I converted them with Any Video Converter.
The codex must be x264 the others result in failures.

Maybe you can try to convert your video's this way (even if they already are mp4).
