280Mb in, 1.16Gb out

Hi Folks,

What sort of magic is Garmin Virb Edit performing where a file 280MB is imported, gets a couple of hundred k gpx file added to it, then exports the combined file as 1.16Gig?

Seems odd.

Did you slow it down? That would make the file larger.

did you change resolution 720p => 1080p ?
was it a clip/movie made with a VIRB (Elite) ?
was it a clip from an other source having a low(er) bitrate?
