For what it's worth I'd include part numbers in any posts.

For example Sandisk has about 3 models of 32GB microSDHC cards. Which one(s) have issues? Also sometimes manufacturers update the firmware in their cards to fix issues. In these case the part number is usually changed.

http://www.memoryexpress.com/Products/MX42800 this is the one I am having "issues" with, but I believe it to be Virb related - or something that can be fixed on Garmin's end.

No part # :(

SanDisk has TWO cards matching that description

SDSDQUA-032G

and

SDSDQUI-032G

What's the difference? No idea but there may be one and it may make a difference.

The part number is on the packaging and printed on the reverse of the card although you need a magnifying glass and/or good eyes to see it.

Frankly I don't trust what sites say the part number is--it's what you get. I've been buying SD cards for about 10 years and know from experience that one can buy the "same" card, which has the same label etc, but has a different part number.

e.g. I recently purchased a PNY 64GB SDXC UHS-I card (full size not micro) and the part number is P-SDX64U1H-GE-A as taken from the packaging. The same online store also sells the P-SDX64U1H-GE version which has the same specs, the same label etc. The -A looks like a revision of the original card to me. What changed? No idea. PNY doesn't say although their site lists the part number as P-SDX64U1H-GE-A.

I am having problems with my Virb using a card by Samsung. Unfortunately I didn't keep the original package, I have only the card, and can't see the part# or other references. What's written on the card is: Samsung 64 GB Micro SD 10 HC.
