virb issue with lens correct/stabilize???

When I take a look in the manual (page 4):

"lens correct: automatically sets field of view to wide in the video settings"

"stabilize: automatically enable lens correct"

When I enable lens correct/stabilize my virb only switches to "ultrazoom" mode?

Is the manual incorrect or my virb faulty or is it a fw bug or where is my mistake?????

It must be wrong in the manual. The more you zoom the more it makes sense to have stabilizer.
Technically it alao makes sense that it only works in ultrazoom since you have a smaller area to record video.

I think, you are right. I have taken a look inte the manuals of other action cams and there the stabilizer is also limited to one modi.
If you have no experience with action cams (like me), you read the advertising and think, the stabilizer is always working ( I think, they want you to think this). But at the virb the manual has then additionally ensured confusion.
