Does anyone notice their garmin virb getting very hot?

When recording indoors with the camera not moving it gets very hot. I took off the battery cover and put my finger on the battery and it was so hot that that after a few seconds I felt my finger burning. We are talking probably over 140 degrees.

I never knew a camera can get so hot. Does anyone notice that their virb also gets very hot?

Oh yes mine too - thinking it would be a great hand warmer on cold days, don't suppose they can make it waterproof and add ventilation.

just bought my virb basic on amazon 6.3.16 ...
been testing it and lots of bugs INCLUDING...
indoors... while recording... the device gets HOTTTTTTTTT

i already asked for a refund from amazon
