Importing NOT from Virb Edit

So that I can have a video where part has the overlays and parts do not, I edited the part I need WITHOUT the overlay and exported it. I then created the part WITH the overlays and exported that. Now when I go to put the two together, I cannot import the clips. All I get when trying is 0/1. Is there a quirk with 2.3.2 that won't allow importing from a location other than the Virb Elite?

You are fighting the system here a little bit. The suggested work flow for what I think you are trying to achieve is to just turn off overlays on a per-clip basis. Go to the edit tab for the clip or clips in question and un-toggle the 'Data Overlays' button. Then (for that clip only) no overlays will be shown during playback or export.

Importing from different locations should work, but from what you describe VIRB Edit is somehow unhappy with the video. Re-importing videos that VIRB Edit exported is not something we really tested much, as it should not be necessary and could cause odd behavior if the exported video had overlays and you are adding new ones.

We have music trimming and fading options pipe-lined for later versions of VIRB Edit.

For now, you might need a different tool to add music to your VIRB Edit export if the simple music option that VIRB Edit provides is not sufficient.
