I've tried with one clip & with few clips but i'have every the same problem.
I've tried also with or without gauges but nothing...
Today i try to update video drives...

    Is possibile a RAM problem?
I've 1GB on board into the GeForce & 4 GB into the motherboard.
    Thx for your interst...

That's not a whole lot of RAM but also not that little. Could you send me the log files via attachment or personal message?

They should be located at C:\Users\{YOUR USERNAME\AppData\Local\Temp\VirbEdit\2.3.2. Just grab the latest one.

The playback within Virb Edit is more accurate, and the gauges displayed within Virb Edit match the data from my 910Xt watch more closely.
I could upload the video to youtube, but I don't have the screencast software to record Virb Edit's playback. It's quite different in places. The G-force gauges in the export does not really make sense part of the time.
The screenshot isn't the best, so I've taken the time to make sure these frames are exactly the same:

    3. https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B7IjZCkmMh6CTzZqRnBFY2tMdW8/edit
    4. https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B7IjZCkmMh6CSEZSQlpxVndvbFU/edit

I can upload the exported video to Youtube (or an alternative location) if it helps.

What I would like to do is get the gpx file and the original video so we can take a look at it here. You can just attach the gpx file, for sharing the video I would recommend Dropbox, that usually works for me. Google Drive might work as well, I haven't used that yet.

    Thanks for the new version!
    One minor request:
In the clip Library, I would love to be able to select multiple clips to delete (or move). For whatever reason my VIRB Elite tends to take a short video whenever it gets fresh power, so I have a lot of clips to delete from the library.

Thanks for the suggestion. That's definitely something we might add. (Not at the top of the list though).

    One more update:
I just exported a 16+ minute 1080p video to .mp4 with gauge overlays. This video was built from 5 edited clips. No problems at all.
There were a couple of minor glitches with VIRB edit itself - it closed itself a couple of times while I was manipulating the clips, but I just restarted the program (not the computer) and it worked fine.
    I'm running Win7 on a 3GHz Intel Processor w/4G of RAM.

Skiing tomorrow, So I'll have another long test for it.

Thanks again for the work that you have done to improve the product.
  • Great update! Now I can export a copule of videos that always crashed with previous versions. What will you have in the next version?

I'll send another video that's smaller (approx 1GB, 8 minutes long) if that's ok. This shows the same issues too.

I'm uploading via Google Drive since my Dropbox account doesn't have much space. I can PM you the link once it's up.
I can upload to Wetransfer in the future if that works for you.

    GPX file has been attached.

So after a couple of good exports on my new lappy ([email protected]/16Gb RAM/Win8 64bit/750Gb 7200rpm HDD), I finally got around to removing the pre-installed anti-virus software package and installing my usual anti-virus (BitDefender 2013). To say that I then had crash after crash after crash would be an understatement!
Tried switching BitDefender into Game mode and there was no change, Virb Edit crashed as soon as I tried to export, also switched on BitDefender's Laptop mode as well with no change, Virb Edit crashed as soon as I tried to export. Uninstalled BitDefender and Virb Edit is happy again - haven't had a single crash and now onto my third export @1080p with custom templates.

2.4 will add some pretty cool gauge stuff that I am very excited about but cannot really say about much yet.

And lots of little tweaks and fixes.
