Is there a thread to request more gauges to be added?

Things I would personally like added:
1: Distance covered / distance to go
2: Install your own logo / text
3: Keyframing the overlay to show when you want it to. (on / off)
    4: Lap number

    Bug:
Not sure if anyone has noticed but the temp doesn't show up and i know its included in the data on my garmin edge and .gpx file

The latest update is 2.3.1 for Virb Edit. Reading the other posts I see that there is an issue with edit only accepting one data stream. They are aware of it and are going to address it in a future update. I'm not quite sure if the distance covered can be done. That would be quite a nice feature to add. Distance to go, I see no way to input trip info into the camera. Maybe if you are importing an actual GPS file. The key framing? I'm not quite sure if they could do that or not. maybe by splitting the video and adding the info where you want it. That would be a tough one to do I think. I think there has been some discussion about the adding text. But I think that would be quite aways off.

I know for a free program alot of things wont be added but just wanted to put as much input as I could into the project.

"1: Distance covered / distance to go" should be in with the gps data, should be possible. *i hope*

Editing is much better not to sync up the video with the data from previous versions now. Only now exporting doesnt work to well if the video is over a certain length it seems.

    Still loving it though

I think the distance should be calculated by VIRB Edit, that's where you cut your clip and track.
There is also the question what distance you want to displayed, the total or just from a single clip.
I think it will take a while before they attempt to make such a gauge.
First they have more issues getting VE working on all PC's and getting the current gauges to work properly (temperature, power, speed).
At the moment, the track is added to the video, each video has his own bit of track.
They are also looking in to adding video's to a track (taking a few clips along a long track and having the long track in the exported file)

Pretty much a long the same lines I was thinking. Lets get the basics working correctly first, Then we can go for the bigger desires.

    1. We are looking into that (the distance covered, time passed part at least), possibly as early as 2.4. But as some others have pointed out, there's a few tricky questions on how to do this exactly.
    2. With a bit of JSON magic and some programming foo that is already possible. But we are looking into ways to make it a lot simpler. That might be a bit longer till that happens.
    3. Do you mean to turn off overlays for parts of the video? If so, you can already do this today. Just split your clips so that one part is where you don't want overlays and turn off overlays on the Edit tab. ("Data overlays" button).
    4. We will be looking into that as well. (Along with lap times, etc.)

The temperature bug is most likely because the device records it as air (or water) temperature and VIRB Edit doesn't recognize those. That will be addressed in 2.3.2.
