Virb and GSC10

I've just re-paired my Virb with the GSC10 on one of my bikes and I notice the Speed information from the GSC10 displays on the Virb as well as the Cadence but there is no means of calibrating the wheel size. I presume this must be done by cross referencing with the GPS.
Can anyone confirm this?

The sooner we get a separate Virb forum the better!

Yeah, I would guess that the camera will only use the cadence data from the sensor and instead use the GPS for speed and distance.

Could be you just had a weak GPS signal (indoors maybe?) so VIRB would show random speed readings.

Up to 9 MPH and it drops top zero when the wheel stops, not the normal 1 or 2 mph random speed readings you see.

Edit: I've just been out and checked again and it's definitely showing speed, up to 26 mph this time and the speed displayed slows down as the wheel slows down.

57DIBBS: I just noticed the same thing. I use a ANT+ speed and cadence sensor, when I put my bike in the bikestand (outside on the driveway so there is gps signal) and spin the back wheel I can see a speed when I put my virb elite in dashboard. The speed is the same I can see on my bike computer but when I record and import the film in virb edit the speed gauges say 0.00 km/h.

So the virb elite can see the speed of the sensor but does not use it when recording.
