I've got Garmin Elite and Contour+ too.
GArmin file in 1080p (30fps) are fix at 20000Kbps.
In Contour+ camera I can choose 3 quality level (always in 1080p at 30fps):
* Low 8700kbps about 3.9Gb/hour;
* Med 11000Kbps about 4.97Gb/hour;
* High 13200Kbps about 5.86Gb/hour
Instead Garmin CAm with 20000Kbps needed about 9.7Gb/hour
Is not possible introduce new settings where we can choose more quality levels? A 20000Kbps file are often weight to manage and needing a lot of time of rendering.
I can ensure that 11000/13200Kbps are good enough on Full HD 52" TV.
So I think often a 20000Kbps is wasted, and a lower quality level probably increases battery life
