    Response?

Any response to my post as to the lack of ability to upload after speeding up or slowing down using your software AND the huge upload time increase when you use this common feature?

About a 5 second lag in the gauges, and over lay. But its working again. This video is 30 seconds in length.

Did you align the GPS track to the video? We have some improvements coming for auto-alignment, but for now you want to make sure your track and video are properly aligned. You can align it on the edit page. Left-click the clip you want to align and then hit the 'Adjust' button on the lower right.

We are still looking into various export issues. I apologize for not being able to give you a more definitive answer.

We are in the process of releasing version 2.2.2 which should fix some (not all) export issues, it will also improve auto-alignment of tracks and videos.
  • Trouble exporting and overlaying GPX

So I've been trying to overlay my gpx file on the video. My video is about an hour long and is split into 4 smaller videos. The gps data shows on the map next to the video when I'm in edit mode to align track. Part of the route shows in black and the other shows in gray.

Also when I try to export the video, I get an error after it goes through the entire process saying there was a problem.

You will have to align the video to the track on the screen-shot you've shown. The gray part is what part of the track is used for that particular video.

VIRB Edit 2.2.2 hopefully does a better job at auto-aligning so you don't have to do this manually. (Re-add the track for this to work.)

2.2.2 might also fix the export issue, if it doesn't then 2.2.3 will fix it.

    I apologize for the trouble.

DO I need to add the gpx file to each video clip?
I have tried aligning the gpx to the video several times but I can only get a small part of the gps data to even show up (like I show in the 2nd attached picture).

Yes. In edit mode it only shows the part of the track that's actually "active" for the clip.

And yes, you need to add the gpx file to each clip individually. With 2.2.2 it will hopefully align them correctly automatically.

Did you ever have VIRB Edit installed on your machine before? Or were you never able to run it successfully?

    Does running as administrator help?

Could you think of anything out of the ordinary how you've set up your Windows?

Thank you for getting back to us.

This is very odd that this happens on two of your machines, yet it doesn't seem to be a widely reported issue.

I am just shooting in the dark here, but here are a couple more questions:

    1. Are you connected to the internet when you are running the software?
    2. What Anti-Virus software and/or firewalls do you have installed?

I will try to get someone from product support set up a remote session with you so they can try to run VIRB Edit on your machine and see if they find anything. Would you be willing to do this?

Again, my apologies for all the trouble.
