Virb smartphone app...

sorry for posting this here, but I can´t find a smartphone software section in this forum

hope someone can help me to find the smartphone app for the Virb elite. The users manual explains how to connect the mobile device via wireless lan and refers to www.garmin.com/virb and/or app store to find the app. I spend almost an hour to find something online without success, just the info on the Garmin page that there is a smartphone app... but were to download it???

please help me to connect my Samsung S4 active with my Virb ellite....

Yehaa... just tested the Android app, looks good.
Just 2 questions are remaining:
- when I start recording the preview on the screen disappears... I would need that, what do I have to do to see what the camera sees while recording?
- the checkbox for automaticly taking pictures is deactivated. How can I make the camera to take pictures every 5 sec. automatically?

You can't - there is no way at the present time to see the preview screen in the apps, once recording is started.

You also can't set the camera to record pictures and videos simultaneously, even if you try it by using the camera itself. What I mean is that if you set the camera to take pictures at 5 second intervals, then push the "Record" button over to get video, only the video is going to be recorded.

While recording video through the App, if you push the "Ok" button on the camera, you can take pictures manually.

It would be nice if the zoom setting in the camera would show up in the IOS app. As it is now its no difference between Ultrazoom or wide, the preview in the iPhone is always Wide.
