Virb Edit 5.4.3 doesn't start on win 10 x64

I'm trying to start virb edit 5.4.3 but it's not showing any sign of life. I tried to recover a dmp file to see if anyting could be investigate but id aramaic for me

Also tried previus verson until the 3 but with no luck-.

Any advice please

I had this same problem. The solution for me was to install 2 optional "built-in" features. You get there by going "Start -> Settings -> Apps -> "Optional Features" (link) -> Add a feature…

Hi there, I also have the same problem here... All of a sudden it won't start now. I have been using it for years 'till now.

Tried to install / uninstall lot's of times....Could it be caused by an Win10 update ?

I unfortunately do not have any solution for this problem other than suggesting ensuring that the windows 10 updates are up to date. As an test I installed Virb Edit 5.4.3 on my laptop and it launched successfully without any errors. I am using Windows 10 Pro, version 21H2, 64-bit with 16GB of installed RAM.

I had to install/enable "Windows Media Player" and then "Media Feature Pack"

These are not installed by default (a change from previous Windows versions)

I have not updated to 5.4.3 - and have no problems. I will not update to 5.4.3.
