I'm getting a Google Maps error when trying to import a G-Metrix log (gpx file). I see the map for a fraction of a second and then it shows the following message (see attached image). Has this happened to anyone else and have you been able to resolve the issue? ciq.forums.garmin.com/.../1383490.png
Garmin, it has been a week since this problem was identified, and all we have seen is a promise to update us when it has been solved. The longer this goes on the more we will be tempted to use a rival software.
At least can you update us to what has caused the problem and a likely timescale to fix.
I am being forced to spend more time on the bike????
Any suggestions on an alternative software (not dashware) ? I can't just sit here and wait around for these people - I have a crit race video ready for data overlays that I need to complete asap.
Perhaps there is more to it, but it seems like all we need is for Garmin to read this website and update their Google API key. Could be fixed by end of today?
I have GPS software on my PC that uses Google Earth to place the track on a "map" . It has been unaffected, so would using Google Earth be an alternative?
