It's been detailed on this forum in multiple places on the issue that started with version 5.0 of the poor export quality of virb edit. Prior versions export a much higher quality video at a much higher bitrate. Support tickets have been opened and Garmin has said they are looking into the issue. That was months ago. Version 5.0 has been out almost a year. The last update to virb edit was in November 2017. If you wish for all of us to continue to buy your products, we need software that works with the hardware. Especially now that most videos are recorded in 2.7K or 4K. 40Mb bitrate is nowhere near enough for either of those resolutions. Any update on this issue is appreciated!!
