VIRB Edit 5.3.1 - 5.7K stitch doesn't work

My laptop is a quad core i7, 8gb Ram with Nvidia GTX 850m

VIRB edit doesn't work when stitching 5.7K footage, the status bar gets to 100% then a message appears saying VIRB has failed to stitch the clips. I've tried changing the encoder settings with no effect.

I have another much less powerful laptop and the stitching works fin, but takes much longer. I have a feeling it may have something to do with the Nvidia graphics card as others with this issue have had NVidia cards too.

Any progress? I have a similar issue. I attempted stitching 5.7k on both an AMD and an NVidia powered machines and there were a few clips that failed to stitch on both machines

Same problem for me, lost footage because virb edit wont stitch it..... what to do in that case Garmin???????

I was able to stitch but stitch quality seemed poorer than in camera? Harder line at the stitch. Also, cannot stitch stills.

Sorry, but IMO this feature has nothing to do with them clips not being stitched.

Having the same problem. Some clips will NOT stitch, tried every combo of stitch quality,4k/5.7k and stitch distance. Tried directly from connected camera, and with the above mentioned method, all to no avail :(

So does this mean this footage is doomed for stitching without gmetrix and stabilization data in a third party software?
