I would like to combine gmetrics coming from the Virb Ultra with some from my Fenix 3 watch (temperature + gps track). The idea behind it is that I would like to see the entire route on my movie (3-4 hour bike ride) while filming only 20-30 minutes with the camera turned off in between in order to save battery. I tried to import the gpx from my fenix 3 but although I selected the check box only for position / course all the camera gmetrix data was overwritten by Virb edit. And I just wanted to see the whole map of the bike trip on the screen. Any experience with this?
I have a similar problem using a virb 360 together with the FR935. The general Problem seems to be with data continously measured with the FR935 but which are started new on the Virb 360 when turned off (i.e. Battery change) like all total values. In this case I'd like to use the data from the FR935. I'm afraid there is no solution at the moment and I will contact Garmin support with this issue
