The gauges are displayed when in editing mode. After exporting the clip, there are no gauges or even titles in the video. I have use both simple export and also export overlays - still nothing. Bug ... or just a feature?
Yes. The same is happening with me. The G-Metrix display fine in the preview window, but no matter what I try, neither they nor any titles are getting exported.
I'm truly sorry for the inconvenience caused by overlay export not working for 2-D clips in VIRB Edit Win 5.3.0. We have resolved the issue in 5.3.1, you can download it from here. Thanks for your patience.
I'm having several issues. I upgraded to OSX Mojave through the Beta program and was disappointed that Garmin Virb Edit doesn't even want to load. I then installed Mac OSX High Sierra on a Parallels VM and everything worked fine up to the export part where the exported video has no overlay on it. Arrgh. I then went and installed Windows & 64 bit in another VM and that one fails to load the google map to sync data. I get script errors. So in the end I have tried 3 different methods with no result. Very frustrating. When will a version that supports Mojave be released? That is my preferred version if possible as VMs just add another performance hit while editing..
