Using a couple of machines.
1). Desktop is HP Envy 147c with built-in graphics: AMD A10-6700 APU w/ Radeon HD Graphics (Annapurna) and Windows 10 Home x64, version 1703 (Creators Update). The in-application update to VIRB Edit 5.2.0.0 DNF. I had to use Revo Uninstaller Professional to go in and uninstall the old VIRB Edit version (5.1.1 (6/29/17), but I always take update when offered), kill the registry keys that still pointed to it after uninstall as well as kill a few files. (BTW, not sure about it but there were a *lot* of basecamp files in the list.) After having a clean location, I was able to install 5.2.0.0. A real bummer, because there were a lot of files left in the Pending Moves registry keys, so a reboot was required before reinstall.
2). The auto-magical converter determination has always failed after the 5.x.y.z releases on the desktop with the AMD chipset.
3). On my laptop, Acer Aspire VN7-592G Laptop, Windows 10 Home x64, version 1703 (Creators Update), Intel(R) HD Graphics 530 & NVIDIA Corporation / GM107M [GeForce GTX 960M] the in-app update to 5.2.0.0 also did not function. Started upgrade by runas Administrator the 5.2.0.0 download. It did successfully complete, and the auto-magical converter test worked. 5.2.0.0 appears to function normally on this Core I7 laptop.
