I'm looking to create a single video from multiple files imported from a VIRB. Due to the length of the ride, I was unable to keep the camera running continuously during this time and as I understand from other threads, there are multiple FIT files created each time the camera was switched off then back on after e.g. a battery change. I would like to preserve the odometer within the edited video which at the moment is being reset back to zero. Is there a way within VIRB Edit to manually update the distance offset or maintain a running total?
I am guessing that VIRB Edit when it sees the break in times between the FIT files logically thinks it is a new and separate video. Potentially, if you can fill in the missing time values you can 'fool' VIRB Edit to consider the files as being contiguous.
