How strange. I just gave it a try and the volume got noticeably quieter and louder depending on where the volume slider was. If you click on the sound track in the timeline, it should bring up the volume control for that sound track. Is that where you are adjusting the volume? If you set the volume to 5%, got back to the gallery, then re open your video for editing, does it work correctly after that?
