I spent over $800 for a VIRB 360 and apparently have no way of creating a video because the EDIT program crashes every time I attempt to load a file created with the $800 VIRB 360. Is this a fraud by Garmin?
I feel the same with my Virb Ultra 30. The Windows-based app started crashing several versions ago. It continues to crash on newly-released v5.1.3. I reported it on this forum and by writing to Garmin Support, but nobody seems to care :( :( :(
They do. But not really in this forum, it is a bit confusing. Before they updated the forum software, there was just one Virb Edit Topic and a link to it from here. Now there are two: Under Virb (Devices) and Windows Software. In the last one, you can see that they care about the issues. But they can only help, if you post the EventLog and tell exactly what you are doing.
