I've got an Ultra 30 and an FR935. For numerous reasons that are mostly obvious I'm using the 935's output as the basis for G-Metrix and I want one of my gauges to show my position on that particular route. (Not a course I'm following, just the line that shows where I've been.) But all I get in Virb Edit is the snippet of route that the Ultra 30 was recording on - it doesn't show the whole route, just the 100-300m odd chunks of it that I was actually recording for. It's the same whether I set the position data source as the 935 or the Ultra 30.
Why is that? Is there a workaround? And is the fact that the distance shown on another gauge again only shows relative to that particular chunk, and isn't reflective of the distance traveled during the actual activity.
Second issue, the Ultra 30 is taking jpeg and dng RAW files but Virb Edit is only importing the jpeg's. To get at the RAW files I need to treat it as a USB device and import them separately - can that be changed or fixed?
