My computer spec more than exceeds the minimum requirements. It is a high end gaming machine. I will check my settings. It stutters now matter what transition I use. Never did this with previous versions.
Mauleflyer, I was seeing this as well. When choosing a transition it really screwed up my timeline and the transition was causing the top of one clip and the bottom of the next to be shown on the same frame for multiple seconds. I had to go change the transitions back to none. I didn't realize it looked ok after export as I couldn't even preview my video because it was so bad so I didn't try exporting. Just one of the many issues with 5.1 that garmin will blame on machine specs. I've rolled back to 4.2.3
Could you provide a bit more info so I can try and recreate this issue on my end?
1. Do you have a lot of clips on your timeline when you see this? does this issue seems to occur more often if you have a lot of clip on your timeline or does the number of clips not seem to matter?
2. Are you seeing this issue with just 4k clips or are you also seeing this issue with 1080p clips?
3. Does changing your encoder/decoder seem to help (Menu > Settings > Media > Advanced)?
4. What video card do you have? I assume you have the latest drivers? it wouldn't hurt to do a quick check if you haven't already (AMD's newest driver was released 6/7/17, Nvidia 6/9/17).
@aramezan
Sorry to hear you're also having stuttering issues. Meeting the minimum requirements for VIRB Edit is more important going forward from VIRB Edit 5.1, many new technologies were added to help speed up exporting, editing, and other features in VIRB Edit, VIRB Edit now offloads a lot more to the Video Card. If your PC does not meet the minimum system specs you may experience similar issues as described in this forum thread.
