My Virb edit software updated today and now will not take snapshots of video (just closes the whole application down) and reports an error when trying to export video. Essentially the software is now useless. Anyone know what to do to resolve this?
I do confirm, version 5.1.0. does not work with Virb Elite. I am not able to synchronize G-Metrix properly, time and date gauges stay still, not showing elapsing time. My previous overlays do also not show properly, landing somewhere beside the screen. Will You fix it, or should I go back to 4.2.3. ? PS, where to download 4.2.3. from ?
Okay, so after some further experimentation, I've found that any new video imported from my Virb Basic seems to work fine - all editing no problem. It is when I try to edit clips imported before the update that it fails. Pretty poor planning from Garmin to be honest. I'm now stuck with two videos edited in Virb that I can't export (wonder if there is another way of exporting them, outside of the software...).
After installing 5.1 I imported and edited a test video.
When attempting to EXPORT I immediately get the message 'VIRB Edit has encountered an error and is closing the program'. Same problems I was getting with 4.2.3.
