Compress G-Metrix time

Hi there,

I'm doing time lapses while out biking, and assemble the pictures in Premiere. I was wondering if there is a way in Virb Edit to match the G-Metrix data to the clip length. For example, my clip length is 1 minute, gps data is 60 minutes. I'd love if Virb Edit could compress the 60 minutes into 60 seconds (tossing some information as I don't need that big accuracy, it should still be somewhat correct.)

Right now, my workflow is like this:
1: Load images to Premiere
2: Get length of clips in Premiere
3: Load G-Metrix into Virb Edit
4: Add dummy green_screen clip to Virb Edit, and trim it to the length of step 2
5: Export with overlay
6: Import overlay to Premiere
7: Compress time
8: Export

I hope someone has a better solution, or that Virb Edit might get an additional feature for us time lapsers later :D
