I use the lap counter feature. My competitions have a pace lap before the green flag starts the race. Even when I move the G-metrix Start to the actual Green Flag start point, the VIRB Edit software counts the pace lap as lap 1 and times it; with the G-Metrix start moved to the actual start location I would expect lap 1 to begin there!
