Hi all,
I am doing road surveys and need to take pictures every 20m with the following information: display picture ID, Coordinates in decimal degrees and distance with two decimals (ex: 0.21km). I'm using a VIRB Ultra 30 with the travelapse and the G-metrix seems to be there, but just need a few tweaks.
I've tried to change units on two different types of overlay, but didn't manage to figure how. I even tried to change coding on the Gauge Builder but wanted to see if some skilled moderators/users could help. Below are my questions/needs:
1) The first one is the coordinate overlay - I would like to change the standard display of Lat/Long hddd.mmm.sss to Lat/Long hddd.dddd. On another words, instead of showing coordinates in Degrees. minutes.seconds I would like to switch to Decimal Degrees only.
2) The second one is the distance overlay. I would to add an additional decimal degree. As of now we can only display 0.0 Km. I would like to display at least a second decimal unit, such as 0.02 km. Would it be possible? Also, would it be possible to change from km to meters? this would do the trick I need.
3) Third thing I would like to do is to figure out an ID Overlay. I would like to add for each photo I have a unique ID to displayed. Is it possible to add as an overlay?
4) Is it possible to change the custom gauge to display on the pics I take? It only seem to be possible when I enter on the media gallery for video editing/creation. My work around is to create a video from the several pictures customizing with the above data and then later on use VLC to extract the pictures again with the edited data displayed.
Thanks a lot for helping out!
