VIRB Edit 4.2.3 stops working when trying to Export

Against my better judgement, I installed VIRB Edit 4.2.3 replacing VIRB Edit 3.6.

I had loaded 4.2 on my Windows 10 laptop and it worked satisfactorily so I took the chance and loaded it on my Windows 10 Desktop. Appears to be a mistake.

When I go to Export my edited video - 2 seconds after clicking the Export button I get the message VIRB Edit Stopped Working

I uninstalled and reinstalled as Administrator and it still stops working when trying to Export.

Perhaps try changing the encoder/decoder?

No Luck.

Click EXPORT and the not working dialog displays almost instantly.

I am at a loss to understand why I can EXPORT on my laptop that has less speed and computational power than my desktop.

Both are running Windows 10, although the desktop was upgraded from W8.1 to W10.

It crashes before you can even manipulate any of the EXPORT options. It also crashes when SHARE is tried.

Doesn't appear to make any difference on if it is a large file or a small file being EXPORTED.

They both fail.
