VIRB Edit 4.3.2 will not start

Hi all, wondering if anyone has seen this before. I have just installed Edit v4.3.2 fresh (no previous installations) and it won't start. I don't see a splash screen or any kind of GUI for Edit. All I get is a Windows Event Log that says the following. I think the key takeaway is the file not found error, but of course it doesn't say what file it's looking for.

Won't start in 4.3.2 and 3.6 version

Hi, I recently bought a Virb Ultra 30 and previously I had some crashes in my Garmin Virb Edit 4.3.2. but it always restarted. Today I experienced couple of crashes more and now it won't start again. I am getting this message:

This one is from 3.6 version, after I read that it starts in this version, so I uninstalled 4.3.2 and installed 3.6. Same issues.

I get the same log message with the 4.3.2. version. Any ideas? I tried mostly everything I found on this forum already ...

Hi, try this https://gopro.com/help/articles/Solutions_Troubleshooting/Quik-for-desktop-error-MFPlat-dll-is-missing, it helped me, maybe you also have N/KN version of Windows. It is important to detect the exact version of your Windows and download the right MFP (otherwise it won't help) - run "About your PC" application and have a look at the "edition" AND "version". VirbEdit would not start on my PC (it just died quietly instead of opening or showing any error). After installing the (correct) Media feature pack, the 5.1.3 starts without problem.

Mine has been working fine... until the latest Win10 update: May 8, 2018—KB4103727 (OS Build 16299.431)
After that, I have the exact same error described above. I tried reinstalling a few times, delete the Virb Edit folder, updated video driver, it just won't start:
