You can download it at http://www8.garmin.com/support/download_details.jsp?id=6591, the in-application update is live as well.

This is a small maintenance release that includes the following fixes:
  • Fixed sharing photos to Facebook
  • Fixed title sorting when opening the Titles tab
  • Fixed insert location when video clips are dragged and dropped on the Timeline
  • Fixed export crash issue
  • Added handling startup crashes due to mixed version assemblies

I have problems by using this Version with garmin vivoactiv fit- and gpx-files, if a speed sensor is paired with the vivoactiv.
For the g-metrix data i want to use fit- and gps-files from a garmin vivoactiv. If the vivoactiv is connected with a garmin speed sensor, virb edit don't read any datas form the files. The displayed speed an hight is always 0 and in the sync-window the position mark dont move, when video is playing or i move the time slider. GPS-files without speedsensor data works without any problem. In Dashware i can use the gpx-files with speedsensor-data without any problems. Is there an bug in the software or am I doing something wrong?

    Thanks
    Chris

    Old Version

You are not the only one! It will install then when I try and run it nothing at all! So given up with it and had to go back to old version!

Do you happen to have the link to the old version?

    Various Virb Edit versions

I was able to download and open all older versions but Can't seem to do the same with the latest.

I even tried to update from within the application and still wasn't able to open the program.

Does anyone know if they are aware or if they are, are they doing anything about it?

    Thanks

Seems to be a 'luck of the draw' thing. I have 2 W10 machines - laptop and desktop. VIRB Edit loads to both. When I try to Export from the desktop VIRB Edit crashes. I works fine from the laptop. Read through this thread and any number of anomalies reported.

There are also issues reported in this thread https://forums.garmin.com/showthread.php?371080-Next-VIRB-Edit
  • I just updated to the latest Radeon video drivers and now when I launch VIRB edit, the timeline does not show up and I get an error that says, "Error Displaying Timeline". Any tips on how to troubleshoot this? 4.2.3 was working well for me before I upgraded my video card drivers.
