Anyone else having issues with the program not running after the install completes?

I did restart my laptop after the install and still doesn't open. I then uninstalled/reinstalled just in case something went haywire during the install. Same issue.

just wondering if anyone else is having or had this issue.

    Thanks in advance.

I upgraded to 4.2.3 yesterday and had no issues after the upgrade. I was able to launch it, create a video and export it. No noticeable in performance though.

Can you guys try this out and see if it fixes the issue? I was seeing a similar issue and this is what fixed it for me.

    1. Install VIRB Edit 4.2.3.0 by double clicking on the Installer exe
    2. Select the Close button after the install completes (don't select "Launch")
    3. Navigate to the VIRB Edit edit folder on your Hard Drive (ie: C:\Program Files (x86)\Garmin\VIRB Edit)
    4. Select all files in the VIRB Edit folder and delete them (Do not worry, this will not delete your videos or edits)
    5. Double Click the VIRB Edit 4.2.3.0 Installer and select the "Uninstall" button
    6. Once the Uninstall completes run the Installer again and see if it works for you now

You are not the only one! It will install then when I try and run it nothing at all! So given up with it and had to go back to old version!

Is there a way to sync up the video with the position on the map?

I saw a you tube video of someone doing this with an older version of the software but the interface looks like it has changed. To clarify my intent... I have a video where the relative speed meter starts showing a positve increase about 20 seconds before my video shows the aircraft moving. I want to be able to sync the g-metrix data so it matches the actual movement of the video.

    Thanks,
    Gary

You can use the "G-Metrix Sync" button or possibly the "Activity Start Time" button on the G-Metrix > Data Tab to do what you're asking.
