Cannot import to Virb Edit

First time out with an Ultra 30 camera. Have about three and half hours of footage taken in three separate segments. Virb Edit for Windows took the last two segments off the card but refuses to take the first. I've tried all sorts things including installing the software on two other computers (a Mac and another Windows machine). Nothing works! I now can't even get the second two segments off the card and into one of the other computers. Not sure what to do. Can someone give me some troubleshooting tips? Thanks!

    need more detail

Hi there, need some more details.

What SD card are you using class 10? UHD-1? What brand card etc? can you watch it back from the device?
What if you remove the sd card and put it into the computer and try watching the files directly or copying?
Did you record everything at the same video settings?
  • Card is Lexar Professional 1000x microSDXC 128GB UHS-II/U3 (Up to 150MB/s Read) W/USB 3.0 Reader Flash Memory Card LSDMI128CBNL1000R.

The mp4s are playable directly in a computer at first but then something causes the card to stop being readable. I also cannot transfer all of the files from the card to a hard drive without the card crashing out. I've had similar problems both with a Windows 10 PC and a Mac.

Afaik, everything is recorded at the same speed.

I did format this card in the camera before using it for the first time.

Yeah that is strange, and you can't transfer them directly with card into the card reader or when plugging the camera into the pc.
I believe you have a faulty SD card and will need to return it. Sux.

As asked before though - do all the clips play ok on the Virb?

No lock button on the card/ card reader half-pushed down?
